Given the opportunity to be apart of a few events which has expended my knowledge of the working culture exponentially.
fundtastic day
The Fundtastic Day, an online fundraising event in collaboration with BAC’s GiveBACK program, this event aims to raise funds for their ‘Feed the Poor’ project, helping B40 families meet their needs during the pandemic.
The event was ran by IACT College students by means of The New Nrml which a platform for events that is made for the heavy hitting pandemic. The mission was to aid those who were affected severely by the unexpected lock down which push some to quit their jobs.
My role in this event
I had to opportunity to represent the role as the head of Public Relations and the emcee for this particular event. Its was a huge jump from what I'm used to, but I was encouraged to try it out and I did not regret that decision.
spACE CREATIVES X THE NEW NRML
The event was held in a virtual platform called Gather Town, it aims to nurture the talents of future generations of the creative communication industry. embracing changes by presenting virtual events as part of our endeavor to bring the thrills of entertainment to the comfort of your own home.
My role in this event
I got the chance to be apart of the Public Relations Team while also being selected to host the event as an emcee. This event was our final year project as a diploma in mass communication student, but the experiences pushed me to do my best in what I was handed.
